Let us forget not His Benefits

The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait upon Him. It is through His mercies that we are not consumed within the happenings of life that can challenge us. They are new and fresh every morning and His faithfulness never fails.

In the freshness that He brings into this new day, choose to embrace His many benefits. What are some of His benefits? In Psalm 103:2-5 we can see that He forgives all our iniquity, heals all our diseases, redeems our life from the pit, crowns us with steadfast love and mercy and satisfies us with good so that our youth may be renewed like the eagle’s. We can then mount up to meet many of life’s challenges with His help and blessings. I encourage you to claim these benefits. He who the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Be set free by receiving the benefits he holds for you.

You have one opponent, Satan. He wants nothing more than to keep you distracted from these benefits. You have ONE champion; Jesus however, who is interceding for us through whom we are to TRIUMPH. “Never” forget that.

There is new choice fruit that God desires to be brought forth this season into your life. Fruit that comes from who “God” says that you are. Choose to let go of your old identity that has been simply defined by your past and your perceptions thereof and let it go and allow it to fall into the ground and die.

“Unless a kernel of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (John 12:24) “Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child will not enter it at all. And He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying His hands on them. (Mark 10:15-16)

Sweet contentment is found in the loving embrace of the Father. Rapturous heart to heart and spirit to spirit flow of the Fathers love is offered in each and every moment. Seek the one who knows you through and through.

Waiting will cultivate patience and humility. Jesus said “For without me you can do nothing”. (John 15:5) Blessed are all they that wait for Him. They that wait upon him shall renew their strength and mount up with wings as eagles and in our weakness is His strength made perfect in our lives. More often than not this process takes some time to walk out. So trust in the lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all of your ways and He will bring it to pass. Trust His process. Commit your way unto Him and He will bring it to pass.
